She is proficient in competitive landscaping, skill-based hiring, diversity hiring, and building talent maps. Syeda has a robust experience in stakeholder management and engagement, having worked closely with unit heads, finance, and human resource business partners to educate and influence business leaders on market intelligence, talent economy, available talent pools, competitive landscape, and build talent attraction strategies tailored to suit business needs. She has led effective hiring ramp-up of niche technology and varied industry domains through agile recruitment practices and research-based competitive landscaping. At IBM, Syeda has collaborated with the research team in setting up diversity engagement events since 2017 and has successfully handled the Tech Re-Entry platform to bring women on a career break back to work. She manages recruitment metrics and constantly raises the bar to align with business requirements, collaborating and partnering with different teams such as employer branding, talent marketing, referral program, offers and candidate management ops, background verification process, and more. Syeda holds an MBA in HR and Marketing from STEP-HBTI and a bachelor's degree in History and Psychology from Awadh Girls Degree College.
